Our specialist Trade Analysis team identifies key opportunities for increased MWBE participation, whether it be for certain regions, industries, or specialized projects. Furthermore, OMCM works with a network of professional consultants to locate highly capable, verified professionals from all walks of life, helping to strengthen and further diversify our construction teams.
This is something we take seriously, which is why we carefully monitor our processes and projects to ensure we are hitting our targets as an absolute minimum. Both internally and externally, celebrating the benefits of a diverse network of skilled professionals maximizes opportunities for innovation and success.
ENSURING COMPLIANCE
Many organizations across the industry have set new diversity goals and action plans, however, not all of these are created equal. Stating an intent is one thing, but taking meaningful action and achieving these goals on a consistent basis is another.
OMCM has developed a collection of policies and procedures to establish best practices and standards of conduct that align with our core guiding values. We work hard to ensure each member of our team understands what matters to us as a collective and as individuals.
Building on the OMCM standards of conduct, we promote training and awareness programs to all of our people. Providing equal opportunities means making education and career progression readily available for all, not the select few.
We take instances of discrimination very seriously. OMCM has created an anonymous Alert Line to allow any member of our teams to report unacceptable behavior or team shortcomings, meaning each of our people has a voice that will be heard.
We are always looking for ways to improve. As such, we regularly review our Compliance Program to maximize its effectiveness, ensure compliance with any emerging laws/regulations, and make improvements wherever possible.
